A stainless steel basket with long handles works for most individual tea cups, travel mugs, and tea pots. Plus, it's very easy to clean.
Place the basket in the the mug with the loose leaf tea inside and pour water over the top. After steeping, remove. The 'rest' dish is perfect for placing on top of the steeper to keep it hot, but also after steeping.

Marisa Manley I love loose tea but have struggled to find a tea leave strainer that keeps all the loose tea in…until now. This does not let any tea leaves out into my hot water, is deep enough to get into the water and overall has transformed my tea making game! Highly recommend.
