Wire Fly Swat

We live in rural New England, and many years ago had the misfortune of a clusterfly invasion. We are fans of Redecker brushes, so we decided to try one of these wire fly swats. It worked like a miracle, and we still use it for the occasional house-fly invader. Recently we wanted to buy more, but couldn't find them anywhere, so finally emailed Redecker customer service (in Germany!), and they directed us to Four Corners. Julia was super nice, and helped us order some for family and friends, which we will give as gifts in early spring. The price was good and the swatters arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

The great thing about these swatters is, you can avoid the mess of the squish. We swat the fly in mid-air, and it falls to the floor, apparently unconscious. Then we dispose of the body as we see fit -- flush or release outdoors -- based on our level of sympathy. You can also use these like normal fly swatters. However we prefer the ninja technique. Just take good care not to accidentally swat a person or other delicate object with the wires!
